High purity silica | Double end dapped | Unique selectivity. These base deactivated, mono-functional bonded, C8, HPLC columns are made with our proprietary, high purity, 5um silica. Designed and used for great efficiency, the result is better peak shapes and better resolution. Used for standard reversed phase methods, these C8 columns are being used by labs for over 20 years for in-house and USP methods. They are also used for qualification of HPLC instruments. Cogent HPS™ C8 is recommended for hydrophobic compound analysis and may retain some more-polar compounds; making them a good choice for more complex mixtures compared with C18.Show more
