Quintiesse Grant medium outdoor wall lantern, bronze, 1×E27

Name: Quintiesse Grant medium outdoor wall lantern, bronze, 1×E27
Brand: Quintiesse

Quintiesse Grant QN-GRANT-M-BU is a medium outdoor wall lantern combining a cast aluminium body with clear seeded glass panels. Its Burnished Bronze finish, curved roof and substantial top handle give the fitting a traditional outline while leaving the bulb visible within the framed glazing.Allow for the lantern's projectionThis particular Grant measures 426 mm high and 184 mm wide, with a projection of 207 mm from the wall. Check those measurements against the intended section of facade, including the space swept by nearby doors or shutters. Medium identifies a fixed size in the Grant family; it does not indicate an adjustable fitting height. The tall glass panels contain small, irregular bubbles rather than an opaque coating. They do not hide the lamp behind a solid shade, so the shape of the bulb contributes to the appearance of the lantern even when it is switched off. This is worth considering alongside the bulb's light output when choosing a source. One E27 bulb is required separatelyThe fitting has a single E27 socket for a bulb rated at no more than 60 W, or an appropriate LED equivalent. It operates from a 220–240 V mains supply. The manufacturer recommends an Edison-style bulb to suit the visible socket, but does not include a bulb: the populated product photographs are not a statement of package contents.Brightness and colour temperature depend on the bulb selected, not on the bronze finish. Grant does not have an integrated LED module. It is compatible with dimmable lamps; a dimming installation therefore needs a suitable bulb and compatible control rather than assuming that any E27 source will dim.Exterior placement and corrosion warrantyThe manufacturer specifies use on exterior walls and an IP44 rating. Potential positions include an entrance facade or a terrace or balcony wall, with the 207 mm projection allowed for at the chosen location. The framed lantern form, bronze colouring and seeded glazing support classic, retro and rustic settings. The stated three-year warranty is specifically an anti-corrosion warranty. Locations within five miles of the coastline are excluded. Take that restriction into account when selecting lighting for a coastal property; the IP rating should not be read as an unrestricted promise of resistance to a salt-laden environment.Show more
