An end cap for the LUMINES axin profile, in grey, moulded from ABS. It has the rounded shape that matches this profile's section and – the key point – it is the version with a hole. What the hole is for The hole is a way through for the LED strip's supply cable. Without it the cable has no route out of the extrusion and would have to leave sideways or through a hole drilled on site – which usually looks worse and weakens the seal at the end. A typical run takes two caps: this one where the supply enters, and a blind one at the far end. Which profile it fits The axin system only. End caps are not interchangeable – every LUMINES profile has a different end geometry, so a cap for the A, C or INSO profile will not go on here.
