Name: Lucide MADEE black 2-light E14 ceiling spotlight 17993/02/30
Brand: Lucide

Lucide MADEE 17993/02/30 is a two-light ceiling fitting with a matt black metal base and round smoke-grey glass shades. Its rectangular bar, exposed cable loops and visible bulbs give it a retro character, while the straightforward outline also works alongside contemporary furniture.Movable heads with diffuse lightBoth heads rotate and tilt, allowing you to change the orientation of the bulbs without moving the ceiling plate. Lucide describes the distribution as diffuse: these glass shades do not turn an ordinary bulb into a narrow-beam reflector. That distinction matters if you are choosing between general room lighting and a tightly focused accent on a small object. The compact fitting can form part of a living-room, hallway or bedroom lighting scheme, or supplement the lighting in a kitchen, dining area or study. Whether it provides enough light on its own depends on the bulbs and the room layout. Two sockets are not a promise of coverage for a particular floor area.Choose two E14 bulbs separatelyEach E14 socket accepts a bulb rated at up to 25 W. Bulbs are not supplied. Suitable LED bulbs, including filament designs, can be used, and their shape remains visible through the smoked glass. This makes bulb selection part of the appearance of the fitting as well as its lighting performance.Your chosen bulbs determine brightness and colour temperature; the warm light in the photographs is not a fixed built-in setting. Dimming requires dimmable bulbs and a compatible dimmer, purchased separately. With a conventional wall switch, the fitting is simply switched on and off.Dimensions and ceiling installationThe overall dimensions are 26 cm long, 9 cm wide and 18 cm high. Height is fixed: the adjustment is in the heads, not a suspension cable. The metal base mounts to the ceiling and installation materials are included. A qualified electrician should connect it to the 230 V supply, including the protective earth required for electrical class I. MADEE is intended for indoor use, not outdoor installation.Show more
