Name: Lucide Biskit White LED Bathroom Ceiling Light 28 cm 79111/30/31
Brand: Lucide

Lucide BISKIT 79111/30/31 is a round bathroom ceiling light with a matt white body and an opal acrylic diffuser. Its microwave motion sensor is an important part of the specification. Consider that feature when planning the lighting rather than treating BISKIT as a conventional ceiling fitting operated only by a manual switch.A close-fitting ceiling profileThe light measures 28 cm in diameter and 7.5 cm in overall height. It sits close to the ceiling, with no hanging cable and no height adjustment. Compare those measurements with the available ceiling space and the position of the electrical connection before ordering. The metal mounting plate is also 28 cm in diameter. This is a surface-mounted fitting, not a recessed spotlight. The shallow cylindrical shape and plain white rim suit modern and minimalist interiors. The opal diffuser covers the light source, so an exposed bulb or decorative filament is not the focus when the fitting is viewed from below.Warm white LED, without dimmingThe integrated LED source and driver are included. There is no need to choose a separate E27 or E14 bulb. The source is rated at 18 W and 1150 lm, with a fixed colour temperature of 2700 K. This gives warm white light rather than the neutral white often selected for detailed tasks at a mirror.BISKIT distributes light diffusely and is not directional. It cannot be aimed to place a narrow beam on a particular object. Neither dimming nor colour-temperature adjustment is available. Take those limits into account if several lights will share a control arrangement.Motion detection and bathroom placementLucide specifies a detection range of 3–4 m, a 150° detection angle and a timer setting of 5–1800 seconds. This equipment can also be relevant in a hallway or entrance area where light should respond to someone arriving. Compare the detection range with the actual layout when selecting the mounting position. The IP44 rating and declared bathroom use do not permit installation anywhere near water. An electrician must assess the location against the instructions and bathroom zones. This class I fitting requires an earth connection and a 220–240 V supply.Show more
