LED profile LUMINES type Y silver anodized 2.02 m

Name: LED profile LUMINES type Y silver anodized 2.02 m
Brand: Lumines

LUMINES Y 10-0094-20 is a silver-anodized LED strip profile for surface-mounted furniture lighting and decorative suspended installations indoors. This version is 2.02 m long. Its open channel and straight, raised sides form the housing for a lighting system you configure, rather than a finished luminaire with a fixed light output.Allow for the full 2020 mm lengthUse the actual 2020 mm section length when planning a cabinet or shelf installation, rather than treating the familiar 2 m designation as an exact measurement. The outside cross-section is 17 mm wide and 18 mm high. Compare both dimensions with the available mounting space, particularly beneath a cabinet or beside a shelf edge. The manufacturer's data sheet specifies LED strips up to 12 mm wide. The chosen strip determines light colour and luminous flux; the profile alone does not have the lighting characteristics of a complete fixture. The system's power supply sits outside the profile, so its position also needs to be allowed for in the installation design.BASIC covers and the Y systemThis section works with BASIC covers and the dedicated Y end caps and mounting clips. The manufacturer illustrates double-sided tape and clip mounting, as well as suspended configurations. Select the appropriate components for the mounting method, cable exit and intended appearance of the light line before assembling the system. The Y M1 auxiliary mounting profile allows the LED strip's height within the system to be changed, giving different light distribution angles. That adjustment requires a configuration using Y M1; it is not a feature of the plain Y section on its own.A restrained furniture-lighting detailThe straight section and silver finish suit modern, minimalist cabinetry. It can form part of lighting for shelves, kitchen cabinets or wardrobe furniture. The final result depends on the strip, cover and installation method, so the completed projects shown in the gallery do not establish the brightness of this particular profile.Show more
