Profile C has a triangular section — two of its walls form a right angle and the third, carrying the light slot, sits at 45°. This is a 2.02 m length in a silver anodised finish; the section measures 23.3 × 11.8 mm. The 45° angle does all the work An ordinary surface profile shines straight down or straight sideways. A corner profile presses into the angle — under a kitchen cabinet, in the corner of a shelf unit, against a ceiling — and aims the light at 45°, that is onto the worktop or the wall rather than into the eyes of whoever is standing beside it. Lumines designs it for kitchen and shop lighting: shelves, worktops and the insides of cabinets. The triangular shape aligns itself — no wedges or angle brackets needed. Strips up to 12 mm and four ways to mount it The channel takes strips up to 12 mm wide, which covers virtually every common type. The manufacturer allows four mounting techniques: double-sided tape, wire suspension, a hinge and a bracket — so the profile can be stuck under a cabinet, screwed into a corner, or hung from the ceiling. The aluminium draws heat away from the diodes, which measurably extends their life when strips are shut inside furniture. What to buy alongside, and what it will not do You get the profile alone. The cover (BASIC family), the strip, the end caps and the driver are separate items, and the driver is designed to sit outside the profile. Lengths of this series cannot be joined — a longer run is ordered as one piece, up to 6 m. The profile is not sealable (IP20), so it does not belong over a sink or in a bathroom shower zone.
