Kora is a classic chandelier 61 cm across, in which five arms spread from a central stem and end in exposed E14 lampholders. The frame is steel, finished in an antique brass effect — a warm, muted gold with patina that does not glitter like new metal and sits better alongside timber and textiles than chrome does. Adjustable height and semi-flush conversion These are two features rarely found at this price. The fitting hangs on a 0.7 m gold cable whose length is set during installation — overall height varies from 46.5 cm to 108.5 cm. If the ceiling is low, the chandelier can be mounted directly against the ceiling as a semi-flush fitting, doing away with the drop. The same product therefore serves a dining room with a high ceiling and a bedroom in a 1970s flat. Five E14 lamps, dimmable The chandelier takes five replaceable E14 candle lamps, each up to 40 W. The fitting is class I, so the circuit needs a PE earth conductor. Over a dining table the usual drop is 75–90 cm above the tabletop, easily reached within this fitting's adjustment range; in a room with a low ceiling the semi-flush version works better.
