GES882C Outdoor Wall Sconce, Brown, Gea Luce, IP54

Name: GES882C Outdoor Wall Sconce, Brown, Gea Luce, IP54
Brand: Gea Luce

Gea Luce GES882C is a brown outdoor wall light with upward and downward light emission. Its broad rectangular body has rounded sides and hides the light source when viewed from the front. Light exits through elongated openings at the top and bottom. The housing is die-cast aluminium, with a glass diffuser.Using the wall as part of the lighting designThe two light exits let the façade above and below the fitting become part of the lighting composition. This wall light suits a terrace, balcony or entrance wall when you want two directions of emission rather than a single beam pointing away from the building. Consider the available wall surface on both sides of the fitting when deciding where to mount it.The integrated LED module is rated at 2 × 6 W. Gea Luce specifies a luminous flux of 550 lm and a colour temperature of 3000 K, which is warm white. Do not plan this fitting as a replacement for a high-output floodlight covering an entire driveway. Its up-and-down construction is primarily relevant to the area around the wall; a large open space needs its own lighting plan.Included components and electrical connectionThe LED module and transformer are included, so this model does not require you to choose a separate screw-base bulb. It operates on 220–240 V AC at 50/60 Hz. Control is on/off only: the GES882C is not dimmable. If adjustable brightness is a requirement, choose a different fitting.Wall installation must be carried out by qualified personnel. This is a Class I luminaire, and the installation instructions show a protective-earth connection. IP54 describes protection against dust and splashing water, not suitability for immersion.Restrained form and cleaningThe brown finish, unbroken front face and absence of ornamental arms support a modern, minimalist approach to exterior lighting. The elongated body and paired light openings define the design rather than a decorative lampshade.Disconnect the mains supply before cleaning. The manual specifies a damp cloth with a neutral detergent in lukewarm water, followed by gentle drying with a soft, clean cloth. Do not expose cables or electrical components to water or detergent.Show more
