Norlys Lund 275GA two-arm garden lantern, hot-dip galvanised, 2 × E27, 170–230 cm

Name: Norlys Lund 275GA two-arm garden lantern, hot-dip galvanised, 2 × E27, 170–230 cm
Brand: NORLYS

Lund 275GA is a two-arm Norlys garden lantern: a crossbar on a telescopic pole carries two flat, conical shades with the bulbs visible beneath them. The finish is hot-dip galvanised steel in its silvery-grey metal colour. The set comprises the twin-head luminaire (art. 2020) and the pole. How big it is and where it fits The pole is telescopic, so the overall height of the lantern can be set anywhere between 170 and 230 cm. The two heads span 85 cm and each shade is 32.5 cm across, so next to a path you need to leave room for the arms on both sides of the pole. Norlys intends the lantern for gardens, parks and terraces, and for hotel and restaurant grounds. The form is plain and Scandinavian: smooth shades without ornament and exposed bulbs. What light it gives and what to buy separately Each head has an E27 socket for an A55–A60 LED lamp of up to 9 W, so the lantern takes two lamps of at most 9 W each. Bulbs are not included, which leaves the choice of colour temperature and brightness to you. Two LED lamps of about 800 lm give as much light as two old 60 W bulbs. The shades open downwards, and a clear UV-stabilised polycarbonate cover protects each bulb without diffusing its light. Installation and wiring The pole foot has three Ø10.5 mm holes spaced 120° apart on a Ø207 mm circle. A separately sold anchor is needed to set it up: one for concreting in (405) or a ground screw anchor (406). The terminals take conductors up to 3 × 4 mm², and the supply cable may be up to 12.5 mm in diameter. The lantern can also be looped through with cable up to 3 × 1.5 mm², so several lanterns can run from one line. Build and protection IP55 means the lantern can stand outdoors without a roof over it: it is protected against dust and water jets from any direction. Protection class II means double insulation, so no protective earth conductor is required. The cover is available as a service kit (06240000), so a damaged cover can be replaced without replacing the whole luminaire.Show more
