Domino 1650 is a single pendant with a clear cone-shaped shade 23 cm in diameter, hung on a black cord to an overall height of up to 80 cm. The shade sits in a wood-look collar — the only warm accent in a fitting otherwise built from black and glass. Clear glass is a decision, not a missing finish The glass here is fully colourless, so the bulb stays visible and becomes part of the decor. That has two consequences. First, choosing the lamp is part of the design: a decorative globe filament looks entirely different in this cone from a plain opal bulb. Second, light leaves through the sides as well as the bottom, so the fitting brightens its surroundings rather than dropping a narrow pool onto the counter. If you want focused task light, pick an opal source or take the sister version in white glass. Over a dining table one piece works only for a two- or three-seat top. The standard hanging height above a counter is 70–80 cm from the surface to the lower rim of the shade. IP20 restricts it to dry rooms — over a sink or in a bathroom a higher protection rating is needed.
