CARBAL Luces Exclusivas Ceiling Mesh LE62201
CARBAL is a recessed downlight 9.2 cm across and 9 cm deep, in satin white. Its whole construction serves one aim: that the fitting should not be seen and the light should. A "deep" build — the source set well back The diode does not sit just below the ceiling line but is recessed well inside the housing. Looking at the ceiling at a normal angle you therefore see no bright point — you see a dark aperture, and the light only appears on the surface it falls on. The manufacturer puts a figure on it: UGR below 17. That is the unified glare rating; values below 19 are required in offices, and below 17 is the level at which a fitting does not tire the eyes even after long exposure. A white tube interior The inside of the housing is white, not black as in many darklight fittings. The effect differs: instead of a hard beam edge, the white wall gently scatters part of the light and softens the transition between pool and surround. The 24° angle stays narrow and directional — from 2.5 m it draws a pool about 105 cm across. 2700 K and CRI above 90 2700 K is warm white — the colour of a classic incandescent lamp, warmer than the 3000 K usual in recessed fittings. Combined with a colour rendering index above 90 the light does not read as technical: timber keeps its tone, fabric its saturation, skin its natural colour. That is a choice for homes and hotels rather than for offices. Source included The LED module is integrated and supplied with the fitting — 10 W giving 878 lumens. No bulb is bought for it, but neither can it be replaced on its own: after the declared 30,000 hours the whole fitting is changed. The manufacturer covers it with a five-year warranty. IP20 places it in dry rooms.
