Nordlux Ava Smart LED ceiling and wall light black 20 cm IP54

Name: Nordlux Ava Smart LED ceiling and wall light black 20 cm IP54
Brand: Nordlux

Nordlux Ava Smart 2019016003 is a round black LED fitting designed for either ceiling or wall mounting. Its aluminium housing surrounds an opal diffuser, while an included cover can obscure part of the front. You can therefore choose between a complete illuminated disc and a face divided into a dark upper portion and a lit lower portion. Check the footprint and projection The fitting measures 20 cm across and projects 6.8 cm from its mounting surface. Compare both measurements with the available wall or ceiling space: the stated 20 cm height describes the face, not how far the fitting hangs below a ceiling. Using the supplied front cover changes the appearance and the way light leaves the fitting, rather than changing its basic dimensions. The plain circular border and lack of ornamental arms give Ava a modern, minimalist character. It retains that restrained shape whether installed vertically on a wall or horizontally overhead. Integrated light with Smart control The integrated, non-replaceable LED source produces warm 2700 K light with a luminous flux of 600 lm. Dimming is provided through Nordlux Smart functionality, and Bluetooth connectivity supports control from your phone. This is not a fitting that requires you to select a separate screw-in bulb. Ava also offers an indication-light function. Automatic activation when movement is detected requires a Nordlux Smart Sensor; Smart in the product name does not mean that a motion sensor is built into the fitting. Account for that requirement when planning entrance or circulation lighting. Indoor and outdoor placement Nordlux specifies both indoor and outdoor use, with IP54 protection. Wall mounting suits entrances and facades, while ceiling mounting provides an alternative for a covered terrace or hallway. A bathroom installation must comply with the requirements of its particular electrical zone. The manufacturer does not classify this version as suitable for seaside conditions. As a Class I fitting, Ava requires a protective-earth connection.Show more
