Albaida is built around a single ceiling bar 96 cm long, from which four flat light elements hang on thin cables at different heights. Each is a narrow graphite plate with an illuminated edge — the light comes out of a slot in the plate, not from a visible diode. Rhythm instead of symmetry The four elements do not hang at one level, and that is the intent: the offset creates a rhythm that replaces three separate pendants over a long table or a kitchen island. Set the lower edges of the light elements 70-80 cm above the surface — at that height the four points spread the light evenly while staying clear of the sightline across the table.
