Bremen 630BC is a round outdoor wall light 28 cm across that stands 14 cm off the wall. The body is powder-coated cast aluminium in a copper patina, the front is hot-dip galvanised steel, and two horizontal bars cross the clear polycarbonate diffuser. The bulb is visible through it. How big it is and how it mounts The fitting measures 28 × 28 cm and projects 14 cm from the wall — a figure to compare with the width of the door frame or pier it is going on. It weighs 1.75 kg and ships in a 29 × 29 × 15 cm carton. Two ø4.2 mm holes spaced 155 × 40 mm take the fixings. The terminals accept up to 3 × 2.5 mm², or 3 × 1.5 mm² looped through, with a cable sheath of 7–10.5 mm, so several fittings can run on one loop. The manufacturer states protection class I, which means the circuit has to carry an earth conductor. Which bulb to buy The socket is E27 and no bulb is included — the end user changes it. The manufacturer allows LED sources up to 9 W, which in current LED bulbs corresponds roughly to an old 60 W lamp. Norlys names the Philips Master LEDbulb 806 lm / 2700 K as a dimmable option, so dimming here is decided by the bulb, not the fitting. The diffuser is clear and hides nothing, so the shape of the bulb is visible from outside — an argument for a decorative filament source rather than a bare LED block. How it handles weather IP54 covers dust and splashing water from any direction, which is enough for a house wall, a soffit or a front door. The polycarbonate diffuser is UV-stabilised, and a silicone gasket and EPDM cable gland close the housing; IK10 impact resistance is the top step of that scale.
