The V-TAC VT-61003 is a compact round recessed LED panel with a white housing. This SKU 7855 version combines 3 W power with warm white 3000 K light and a luminous flux of 330 lm. Its light source is integrated, so there is no separate bulb to choose by socket type.Check the cut-out, not just the outer diameterThe panel has an outside diameter of 90.5 mm, while the technical documentation lists a height of 28 mm. The ceiling opening is a separate measurement: the instructions specify an 80 mm installation hole for the 3 W version, with an accepted range of 77–82 mm. The outer rim should therefore not be used as a cutting template. Compare both dimensions with the intended installation position before preparing the ceiling.Spring clips hold the panel in the opening. After making the cut-out and connecting the supply, the clips are raised and the panel is seated as shown in the instructions. Installation and electrical connection should be carried out by a qualified electrician with the power switched off. This is a recessed fitting, not a surface-mounted panel with its entire housing attached below the ceiling.Warm white light at a fixed brightnessA colour temperature of 3000 K identifies warm white light. The 330 lm rating is the luminous flux of one panel, so lighting a larger area requires consideration of the number and arrangement of fittings rather than the 3 W power rating alone. A colour rendering index of CRI 80+ provides another point of comparison with other versions.This panel is not dimmable. Allow for that restriction when choosing the lighting controls; it is not a fitting for brightness adjustment through a standard dimmer.
