SELDE+ is an aluminium LED profile from the TEKKNI+ family — a line intended for furniture installation. This variant is a 1-metre length in a raw finish, meaning no anodising and no lacquer: natural aluminium straight from the extruder. The profile is recessed into a pre-milled groove, so once the work is done the face of the profile sits flush with the furniture board and only the cover remains visible. What it is for The manufacturer intends SELDE+ for kitchens and display areas — for lighting cabinets, worktops and other work surfaces. That purpose dictates the whole design: the profile is shallow enough to fit inside a cabinet front or underside, and recessed mounting removes the edge that a hand or a cloth would otherwise catch while wiping a worktop. The raw finish — who it suits The raw version is the cheapest in the family and intended for places where the profile will not be seen anyway: the inside of a cabinet, the underside of a shelf, a groove hidden by the cover. If the profile is to stay in view, the same series offers three decorative finishes — black anodised, white lacquered and silver anodised. Transparent passes the most light but shows individual diodes when viewed from the side; milky loses a little output but gives an unbroken line of light with no visible points. SELDE+ end caps — plastic, in black, white or silver, in versions with a cable hole. LED strip and driver — chosen separately, according to the wattage and colour temperature required. Installation The profile seats in a groove milled into the furniture board; the S14+ cover slides or clips into the profile's guides, and the end caps close both ends. A one-metre length suits a typical kitchen cabinet width; for longer worktops the 2.02 m or 3 m versions are more convenient, avoiding visible joints between sections.
