TRA004DR-150S is a 150 W driver for Maytoni's 48 V magnetic track system. A metal housing 15.9 × 9.7 × 3 cm, AC 100-260 V in, 48 V out. Without it the track does nothing A magnetic track does not run on mains voltage: magnetic fittings are not connected to 230 V but to a safe **48 V**, and converting one to the other is exactly what this driver does. It is a separate catalogue item — buying a track and fittings means buying a driver of adequate power as well. The arrangement has a practical consequence too: the voltage on the track is low, so the rails themselves pose no touch hazard and fittings can be repositioned without switching the circuit off. 150 W is the power budget for the whole track Choosing a model comes down to arithmetic: add up the wattage of every fitting that will hang on one run and pick a driver with headroom. It weighs 0.4 kg. **IP20 means it must go somewhere dry and enclosed**, not outdoors and not into a bathroom protection zone. The metal case works as a heatsink, so it should not be wrapped in mineral wool or shut into a sealed box without ventilation. Electrical data and limits The input takes a wide **AC 100-260 V** range, which makes the driver tolerant of mains fluctuation. It works in protection class I and requires an earth conductor. The driver itself is **not dimmable**: brightness control in a magnetic system happens at the fittings or through a dedicated controller, not by putting this module on a phase-cut dimmer.
