Asker 1338 is a bollard light shaped like an inverted L: a slim 85 cm column ends in a horizontal head that throws light downwards. The body is powder-coated cast aluminium in black (RAL 9005), a plain, modern block with no ornament. A PIR motion sensor switches the light on when someone approaches. Size and installation The bollard stands 85 cm high, the head reaches 20 cm and the whole unit is 11 cm deep — figures to compare with the width of the path or driveway edge where it will stand. It weighs 4.11 kg. Norlys designed it for gardens and private grounds; it suits a terrace, a driveway, a park or a street. The base has four ø8 mm holes spaced 18 × 50 mm. The concrete anchor (1907), the ground anchor (1908) and the mounting adapters are sold separately, so the foundation method has to be chosen and ordered together with the light. The terminals take conductors up to 4 mm², and several lights can be looped through with cable up to 2.5 mm². It is a protection class I luminaire, so it must be connected to the protective earth. Light and motion sensor The light source is an integrated Philips Fortimo LED module and the luminaire draws 9.7 W. It delivers 585 lm at 3000 K, a warm white, with CRI 80. The light is diffused and aimed downwards, and ULOR 0% means nothing is emitted above the head — the ground is lit, not the sky or the neighbours' windows. The PIR sensor has a dusk switch and a hold-on time. It leaves the factory set to maximum range, a 10 lx dusk threshold and a 1-minute on time: after dark the light switches on with movement and goes off one minute after movement stops. Build and servicing The clear textured polycarbonate diffuser is UV-stabilised, and a silicone gasket and EPDM cable gland seal the housing to IP65 — dust-tight and protected against water jets from any direction. Impact resistance is IK05. The LED module keeps at least 70% of its output for more than 50,000 hours. When it does need replacing, this is done by a service technician — Norlys supplies service kits for both the module and the PIR sensor.Mostra di più
