Kortia strips a chandelier back to two rings. The larger one measures 48 cm across, the smaller one sits inside it at a slight angle, and the two overlap so the shape reads differently from every corner of the room — sometimes a single hoop, sometimes an opening spiral. A matt black frame keeps that geometry crisp, while the inner edges of both rings are packed with small faceted crystal-effect elements that break the light into hundreds of points. Two rings instead of a shade There is no shade on Kortia. The light source is hidden inside the ring profile and shines out through the crystal band that faces the centre of the hoop, so the space below gets soft, diffused light while the rings themselves turn into a glittering line. The frame is metal alloy with plastic detailing, and the fitting hangs from a round black ceiling rose on three slim cables. Light output: 3160 lm in three colours The built-in LED module draws up to 35 W and delivers 3160 lumens — enough to light a medium living room or dining area on its own, without help from spots or a floor lamp. Kortia runs at three colour temperatures: 3000 K warm white, 4000 K neutral white and 6000 K cool daylight, so the same fitting can be a warm evening accent above the sofa and a matter-of-fact working light over the table. Because the diode is integrated, there is no lamp holder and no bulb to buy separately. Dimensions and installation Both hoops fit inside a 48 cm circle, and the total height including the suspension reaches 120 cm. The cables are shortened during installation, so the drop can be matched to the ceiling height and to whether the lamp hangs over a table or in the middle of the room. It runs on standard 220–240 V mains, and the IP20 rating places Kortia in dry indoor rooms. Where it works Italux recommends Kortia for living rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms, kitchens, studies, hallways and children's rooms. It looks best with some empty space around it: above a long table, over a kitchen island, or in the seating area of an open-plan living room.
