CARISO WL-4 is a wall light shaped as a flat, angled shell 35 cm wide. Outside it is black and matt; inside it is painted gold — and because the housing is open at the top and the bottom, all of the light bounces off that gold surface first. This is not merely a finishing detail: gold warms the reflected beam where a white interior would cool it. Dim-to-Warm is the point The fitting does not just dim — it shifts colour together with brightness. At full output it gives 580 lm at 2700 K; at its lowest setting it drops to 58 lm and 1700 K, roughly candle-flame territory. That is how a classic incandescent behaved, growing warmer as it was turned down; most LEDs do not, and hold the same cool tone all the way down. A ten-to-one output range lets one fitting cover both evening reading and pure background light. Control and light quality CARISO WL-4 works with ordinary phase dimmers, both leading edge and trailing edge. It needs no controller and no external driver: it connects straight to 220–240 V, 50/60 Hz mains. Colour rendering is CRI 90 and the flicker metric SVM is 0.03 — low enough for desk work and for video.
