FORTIZA LE75282 is a portable outdoor lamp with a built-in battery, 17.5 cm tall and 8 cm across, in a corten (rust) finish. It charges over USB, dims by touch, and is rated IP54. No cable, no installation That is the whole idea. A built-in 3.7 V battery charged through a USB port means the lamp does not have to be connected to anything. You set it on the table on the terrace, carry it to the balcony, take it into the garden for dinner and bring it back inside – no extension leads, no garden wiring. It has consequences for rented flats too: it needs no permission to alter an installation, because there is no alteration. This is a light that comes with you when you move. Dimming by touch Brightness is set by a touch function on the lamp itself – no dimmer, no remote, no app. Touching the body changes the level. On a fitting of 60 lm that is not a gimmick but a sensible feature: full brightness is enough to see by at the table, and dimming turns the lamp into a source of atmosphere while extending the run time per charge. 60 lumens – what that means in practice Let us be plain: 2 W and 60 lm is candle territory, not that of a lighting fitting. FORTIZA will not light a terrace or replace a wall light – its job is to place a point of warm light on the table, the way a lantern does. 3000 K is warm and sits well with the rust finish. On a large table two or three are usually set out – that gives a rhythm of light points rather than a single island of brightness. Corten, but without the rust The corten colour imitates weathering steel – the warm, rust-brown patina real corten acquires through controlled oxidation. Here it is a finish on aluminium and plastic, so it gives the corten look without its drawbacks: it does not stain the terrace, does not mark a tablecloth and does not shift in tone over time. IP54 – what is allowed and what is not IP54 means protection against dust and against splashing water from any direction. The lamp will take rain and a damp evening, but it is not made for immersion or for a pressurised jet. When the terrace is cleaned with a pressure washer, take it away first. The LED is permanently built in – there is no lamp to change, and the life of the module is the life of the fitting.
