MENNO is a floor lamp that doubles as a narrow shelving unit. The black MDF structure has a triangular 30 cm footprint and stands 162.3 cm tall, and inside the frame sit three storage levels: the base plus two shelves at hand height. A cream cotton shade, 36 cm tall, tops the whole thing. A lamp and a side table in one This is a solution for places with no room for a separate table: beside an armchair, next to a bed, in the corner of a study. The triangular outline tucks into a wall corner more tightly than a round base, and the shelves take over as a bedside cabinet – a book, a phone, a glass. The structure weighs several kilograms, so it stands firm even with the shelves loaded. The light The cotton shade diffuses light all around, up and down – the lamp does not aim a beam at one spot but lights the whole corner of a room. The E27 socket takes a bulb of up to 60 W; no bulb is included. The manufacturer recommends its own decorative Lucide A60 filament lamp for this model (49042/05/62) – its warm tone shows through the fabric while the bulb itself stays hidden. Operation and setup The lamp has a pull switch at the lampholder – no hunting for an inline switch on the cord and no bending down to the socket. The cable is 180 cm long, black, with a Type C plug. The lamp is not dimmable: the manufacturer states this plainly, so a dimmer will not work even with a dimmable bulb. The installation materials needed to assemble the structure are in the box. Build and safety Frame and shelves are MDF in a black finish, the shade is cream cotton, the cable is PVC-insulated. Protection class II means double insulation, so no earth connection is required; IP20 places it in dry interiors. The manufacturer gives a 2-year warranty. The wireless-charger version Lucide also makes this model with an induction charger built into the shelf (code 44799/81/30) – worth checking the code if the lamp is going beside a bed and is meant to replace a phone charger.
