The V-TAC VT-8029 recessed ceiling motion sensor uses 360° infrared detection to switch lighting on automatically whenever movement is detected in the room. Motion detection The sensor covers a full 360° field and detects movement up to 6 m away (at temperatures up to 24°C), with a response time of 0.6–1.5 s. Both the ambient-light threshold and the hold time are adjustable — light sensitivity from 3 to 2000 lx, and switch-off delay from roughly 10 seconds up to about 10 minutes.
