PINNE 150 is a linear ceiling luminaire 150 cm long, built from an aluminium profile of 6 × 6 cm section, painted white. It lights through a built-in LED module aimed downwards — the source is not bought separately and cannot be replaced. How much light it gives The module puts out 4940 lm while drawing 38 W. That is roughly six old 60 W bulbs, so the fitting works as the main light of a room rather than as an addition. The diffuser closes the profile underneath and the light goes only that way — onto the worktop, the desk or the floor below, not onto the ceiling. 4000 K is neutral white with no yellow cast, the light usually chosen for a kitchen, an office and a work station. The colour rendering index is Ra 90, so colours under this fitting look almost as they do in daylight, which matters over a kitchen worktop, at a mirror and at a desk. Size and mounting The fitting is 150 cm long, 6 cm wide and 6 cm high, and weighs 3.95 kg. It mounts on the surface, straight onto the ceiling, and needs no cut-out and no void above the ceiling. At this length it is worth measuring the run first: a metre-and-a-half profile is laid along a worktop, a table or a line of travel. It is a Class I fitting, so the ceiling box has to carry an earth conductor. The supply is 230 V, 50 Hz. The manufacturer gives a five-year warranty and the luminaire is made in Poland.
