Pendant cable with lamp holder CAMELEON CABLE E27 Suspension 3.5 m Black / Brass 8662 - Nowodvorski
CAMELEON CABLE E27 is the suspension part of the Cameleon system on its own: a black cord 3,5 m long ending in an E27 lampholder in a brass sleeve. It is not a finished lamp - the shade and the ceiling cup are bought separately, as further items from the same system. What is in the box and what has to be added The box holds the suspension and the instructions. No lamp is included, and to turn the cord into a pendant you still need a Cameleon shade or fitting and a ceiling cup from the same system. The cord is 3,5 m long, which covers tall rooms and a drop over a staircase. That is the figure to compare with the distance from your ceiling to the point where the shade is to hang. Which bulb it takes The holder has an E27 thread and the maker allows LED lamps only, up to 25 W. An incandescent or halogen bulb must not be used here even if it stays inside the wattage limit - the restriction is on the type of lamp, not only on the watts. The light source is replaceable, so colour and brightness are your choice and a lamp can be swapped without taking the suspension down. Build and installation The cord is plastic and the holder sleeve is brassed steel, which is where the pairing of black with the warm shine of brass comes from - it can be repeated in the shade and the ceiling cup. The suspension is made in Poland, in Siemianowice, and the Cameleon system was designed by Łukasz Jaworski and Borys Nowodworski. The IP20 rating restricts it to dry interiors. It is protection class II, so it needs no earth conductor, and it runs on mains voltage at 50/60 Hz.Choosing CAMELEON components You are buying a pendant cable with lamp holder. Add a compatible shade, a ceiling canopy suited to the number of lighting points, and mounting accessories for the cable route. The pendant cable is one part of the assembled light; other system components are selected separately. The bulb limit for this pendant cable is 25W LED only. When choosing a bulb, use the lower of the wattage limits specified for the shade and the selected pendant cable. The same bulb base alone does not establish compatibility; the full pendant-cable family designation matters. A bulb is not included; select one to suit the lamp holder and the limits of the complete assembly.Mostra di più
