These non-self-sealing filter tips feature a PE filter that is free of chemical additives, thus preventing sample contamination. Permeability is controlled by a combination of pore size and filter length, ensuring that no aerosols can enter the pipette shaft. The filters function with consistent reliability. However, if liquids accidentally come into contact with the filter, they will pass through it very slowly.
