The batteries regulate the charging process independently, while the module provides the necessary power supply and displays the charge status via an integrated LED indicator. Perfect protection The integrated protection circuit protects the cell from overcharging, overloading, short-circuiting or deep discharge. As a result, the battery is perfectly protected against incorrect handling, which guarantees a long service life. High energy density Compared to conventional NiMH batteries, Li-ion technology has almost twice the energy density for the same size. Low weight, low self-discharge and high cycle stability The Pure Power AA / HR6 Li-Ion battery is extremely durable and can be recharged up to times, even under harsh operating conditions. Thanks to the very low self-discharge rate, the battery retains its energy over a long period of time even when not in use. In addition, the weight of the Li-ion cell is much lower compared to conventional battery technologies (e.g. NiMH/NiCD/PB) with the same performance.
