Compared to its popular predecessor, it offers more stability, more control and even more precise feedback on the bar. This makes it particularly interesting if you're starting out in kitesurfing, want to improve your technique safely, or are looking for an uncomplicated kite you can rely on in a wide range of conditions when traveling. Intuitive Handling with Clear Feedback On the water, the INDIE² shows its strengths with intuitive handling, constant turning behavior and depower that can be called up easily and reliably. The high stall resistance and rich bar feedback give you a clear feeling of where the kite is in the wind window at all times. This creates confidence during water starts, when going upwind and in all situations where predictable behavior matters. The balance of basic pull, control and a relaunch that almost works by itself is particularly pleasant. Stable Even in Light Wind Even in light wind conditions, the INDIE² remains remarkably stable. It drifts very cleanly, stays calm at the edge of the wind window and shows very little fly-down. The lightweight one-strut kite really comes into its own on light-wind courses, relaxed cruising or on the hydrofoil. The hangtime provides additional support when jibing and turning, while the direct steering ensures that active flying stays simple and controlled. Further-Developed One-Strut Design In terms of material and construction, FLYSURFER relies on a consistently further-developed one-strut design. New profiles in the center of the kite improve airflow, increase efficiency and help the kite fly further toward the edge of the wind window. This provides more usable power and supports you going upwind. The optimized bridle changes the geometry of the construction so that light wind stability and bar feedback are further increased without losing the kite's strong relaunch character. Robust Material and Practical Handling The INDIE² is made of robust Dacron and D2 material and is therefore designed for a good balance between weight, stability and durability. The Free-Flow² system with bayonet lock and push-push mechanism makes handling and setup particularly practical. Enlarged tube diameters, adapted clamps and optimized valve positions noticeably speed up inflation and deflation. You can also use the Back Line Adjuster to adjust bar pressure and control forces to your riding style if you want even more feedback or a little more holding power at the bar. More Engaging Than Its Predecessor In direct comparison to the INDIE, the INDIE² is noticeably more engaging. It delivers more bar pressure, runs more stable through changing conditions, controls the entire bar travel more cleanly and offers an improved ratio of power and depower. It is therefore not an overpowering specialist, but an honest kite for riders looking for a light setup with clear feedback and a lot of confidence on the water.
