GFA1080C Recessed Light Fixture, White, Gea Luce

Name: GFA1080C Recessed Light Fixture, White, Gea Luce
Brand: Gea Luce

Gea Luce GFA1080C is a round recessed light with an aluminium structure and a satin-white front. A recessed optic within the broad trim ring gives it a restrained, technical appearance. The integrated LED module and a separate transformer are included, so there is no individual bulb to select for this version.A warm-white accent with a defined beamThe manufacturer specifies 230 lm at 3 W, with a 38° beam angle. This directed distribution makes the fitting useful for highlighting a selected part of an interior rather than treating one spotlight as a replacement for the room's main lighting. Its 3000 K colour temperature produces warm-white light, an important detail when coordinating it with other fittings in the same space. The optic is designed to limit glare. Positioning still matters: plan where the beam should fall instead of relying on the optical treatment alone. In a living room, bedroom, dining area or corridor, it can provide a supplementary layer of light. The same accent-lighting role can be useful in hotel interiors or shop displays, without implying that one fitting will adequately illuminate the whole area.Allow space for the separate transformerThis is an indoor recessed fitting, not a surface-mounted light. Its supplied transformer is separate from the light body, so the installation needs to accommodate that component as well as the spotlight itself. The supply is 220–240 V AC at 50/60 Hz. The instructions require installation by qualified personnel with the mains power switched off.GFA1080C operates by switching on and off and is not dimmable. Do not assume it will work on a dimmed circuit simply because it uses LED technology.A white detail for minimal interiorsThe simple circular form suits modern and minimalist schemes, with the satin-white ring remaining visible around the optic. For cleaning, the instructions specify a damp cloth and mild detergent followed by gentle drying. Keep water and cleaning products away from cables and electrical components.Show more
