Whistling Bathroom Flush Ceiling Light - 3 light sources - Polished chrome Elstead

Name: Whistling Bathroom Flush Ceiling Light - 3 light sources - Polished chrome Elstead
Brand: Elstead Lighting

Whistling is a flush ceiling light by Quoizel, distributed by Elstead Lighting, with a dome-shaped shade of clear glass. The shade clips under the round ceiling base on metal latches, and through the glass you can see three lampholders set in chrome sleeves. The steel parts are finished in polished chrome. For the bathroom and other rooms The fitting is rated IP44, which means it is protected against splashing water from any direction – the manufacturer specifies it for interiors, including bathrooms explicitly. Besides the bathroom, it suits a bedroom or dining room. Size and mounting The light is 33 cm in diameter and 23.8 cm tall – that is how much space it takes up below the ceiling, so compare it with the height of your room. It fixes directly to the ceiling with no cut-out and weighs 2.57 kg. It is a Class I fitting, so it must be connected to a protective earth conductor. Bulbs and light Inside are three E27 lampholders, each rated for a bulb of up to 40 W. Bulbs are not included – you need to buy three and choose the colour and brightness yourself. Clear glass does not diffuse the light, so the bulbs are plainly visible and their shape becomes part of the look; the manufacturer recommends clear E27 LED bulbs in the classic pear shape for this fitting. The light is compatible with dimmable bulbs – with a dimmer on the circuit, all three must be marked as dimmable. Character and finishes The manufacturer describes Whistling as a playful design that combines simple elegance with a light touch: the smooth dome is paired with visible latches and lampholder sleeves. The same light is also available in brushed brass and polished brass finishes.Show more
