Mowgli is a round wall mirror set in a grass frame. A densely woven, darker ring runs right against the glass, and around it the fibres spread outward into pale, airy fringing. The colour is left natural, from cream to light beige, with no lacquer or paint over it. How large it is and what the glass shows The maker gives 60 cm across, and wrote the same figure into the article code JAPA005N-M-60. On a wall that is a circle the size of a substantial wreath — above a narrow console or chest of drawers it takes up roughly their width, so measure the free space with an allowance for fringing that sticks out unevenly. The glass itself is much smaller than the whole: in the maker's photographs it covers just under half the outer diameter, with braid and grass making up the rest. This is a mirror for checking your face and hair on the way out, not for seeing your full height. What it is made of The frame is built from grass — the technical data lists the material as natural fibre and, in detail, as grass.
