Serene LED island pendant 92.5 cm - Natural Brass Elstead

Name: Serene LED island pendant 92.5 cm - Natural Brass Elstead
Brand: Elstead Lighting

Serene is a linear LED pendant from the American brand Kichler, distributed in Europe by Elstead Lighting. A bar with rounded corners, finished in brushed natural brass, carries a layered textured-glass diffuser underneath, stepped like a cascade. Kichler describes it as a contemporary take on mid-century shapes. Size and suspension The fitting is 92.5 cm long, 15.2 cm deep and 18.1 cm high. Compare the length with your worktop: over a kitchen island or a longer dining table the bar lights the central part of the top. It hangs from two rods and the height is set during installation — four 152 mm rods and four 305 mm rods are supplied. The overall drop is 45.3 to 121.5 cm; subtract it from your ceiling height to check that the lower edge will sit 70–80 cm above a 75 cm dining table. The rectangular ceiling plate is 22.9 cm wide and 4.5 cm high. The fitting weighs 9.64 kg, so it needs a secure fixing into the ceiling structure. It is Class I, so the installation must include an earth conductor. Light The light source is an integrated 40 W LED module delivering 2400 lm — enough for main lighting over a table, not just a mood accent. At 3000 K the light is warm white. The module is included and cannot be swapped like a bulb, so there is nothing else to buy. Light passes through the layers of textured glass, which diffuse it and cut glare for people sitting at the table. The manufacturer lists the fitting as dimmable. Where it fits The manufacturer intends Serene for living and dining rooms, and as an island light it works over a kitchen island or a dining table. Brushed brass with a soft sheen and milky textured glass sit well with warm wood furniture.Show more
