Sartobind IEX membrane adsorber units combine the advantages of using Sartobind membranes for ion exchange chromatography with the design of a syringe attachment. This ensures quick and easy sample handling. Sartobind® membrane adsorbers (MA) for ion exchange chromatography are ready-to-connect units of the syringe filter type. They all contain the patented Sartobind membrane with a microporous structure with a pore size of 3 µm. The ion exchange ligands are covalently bonded to the entire inner surface of the membrane, resulting in separation media with high binding capacity and very high flux rates. The binding of the ion exchange ligands is very stable and allows many cycles of use without loss of binding capacity.
