Maxlight Magnetic M0034N magnetic pendant light, white, 48 V, 3.8 W, 3000 K
Maxlight Magnetic M0034N is a white pendant for the 48 V magnetic ON/OFF track system. Its slender aluminium body forms a plain tube suspended on a cable beneath an elongated mounting element. Low source power and a narrow beam make it a point-lighting addition to a scheme, rather than a replacement for a broad ceiling fitting.A Magnetic system component, not a direct 230 V fitting The rated voltage is 48 V, and the manufacturer identifies this version as ON/OFF. Before ordering, match the pendant to the appropriate Maxlight Magnetic system and its power supply. Another track having the same voltage does not by itself establish mechanical or electrical compatibility. This fitting must not be connected directly to a 230 V installation. The LED source is integrated, so there is no separate E27 or GU10 bulb to select for the tube. The manufacturer also specifies that a dimmer cannot be connected. If the lighting plan requires brightness adjustment, this ON/OFF version does not meet that requirement according to its specification.A narrow beam in warm white The source is rated at 3.8 W and 317 lm, with a beam angle of 28°. That angle directs light onto a limited area rather than spreading it broadly through the room. The pendant can provide a point above a table or kitchen island, or an accent in a living room, dining room or restaurant. The number and position of light points still need to suit the actual surface. A colour temperature of 3000 K means warm white. Compare the CRI of 90 with the other sources when colour rendering of illuminated objects matters to the design. Source flux alone does not determine the illuminance achieved on a worktop.A 30 cm tube on a vertical suspension The manufacturer states a height of 75 cm. Its drawing divides that into 45 cm above the body and a tube 30 cm long; the latter is not the lamp's diameter. Compare the suspension height with the table or worktop position when planning. The unornamented white form suits modern and minimalist track compositions.Show more
