ARGON OVIEDO 4200 Pendant Light – Clear Crystal Glass, Brass-Plated Steel, 14 cm

Name: ARGON OVIEDO 4200 Pendant Light – Clear Crystal Glass, Brass-Plated Steel, 14 cm
Brand: ARGON

ARGON OVIEDO 4200 is a single pendant with a clear crystal-glass globe. Intersecting cuts give the shade a regular patterned surface, while brass-plated steel fittings contrast with its black cable. This is the small, one-light pendant in the collection, rather than the separate multi-light chandelier.A 14 cm globe and two different height measurementsThe shade measures 140 mm across in both width and depth. Its small diameter matters when positioning a pendant over a narrow surface or beside a bed: the globe occupies less of the view than a broad lampshade. Compare that measurement with your furniture before choosing a position, rather than relying on the scale suggested by the photograph. The maximum overall height is 1650 mm, including a suspension of up to 1500 mm. The manufacturer states that the suspension length is set during installation. Overall height and suspension length are therefore not interchangeable. When planning clearance above a table, allow for the shade itself as well as the gap you want below it.Choose the bulb and controls separatelyThe fitting takes one replaceable E27 LED bulb rated at no more than 15 W. The bulb is not supplied, so brightness and colour temperature depend on the light source you select. Clear glass does not conceal the bulb in the way an opaque shade would; its appearance also contributes to the finished arrangement. For dimming, Argon specifies a dimmable bulb together with a compatible dimmer. The pendant has no built-in dimmer. This separates the choice of a decorative glass fitting from the choice of how its light will be controlled.Where the patterned glass worksThe cut-glass globe and golden metal details suit classic and glamour interiors, while the simple single suspension can also accompany modern furniture. The manufacturer suggests placement over a dining table, over a kitchen island or on either side of a bed. Several separately purchased pendants can form an arrangement along a larger surface, but model 4200 itself provides only one light point. Select the number of fittings and the bulbs according to the needs of the whole area, not just the size of one globe.Show more
