Zambelis E270 outdoor ceiling light, sandy white, 1×GU10, IP65

Name: Zambelis E270 outdoor ceiling light, sandy white, 1×GU10, IP65
Brand: Zambelis

Zambelis E270 is a square surface-mounted ceiling light in sandy white, made from aluminium and glass. Its straight-sided housing surrounds a single GU10 lamp, with a dark recess visible inside the pale lower frame. It is intended for both outdoor and indoor ceiling installation, without a suspended cable or hanging shade.A defined footprint beneath the ceilingThe body measures 8.5 × 8.5 cm and projects 10 cm below its mounting surface. Compare these dimensions with the width of your soffit or canopy and the available clearance above a passage before choosing its position. This is a surface fitting rather than a recessed spotlight: the housing remains below the ceiling instead of disappearing into a ceiling void.Flat sides, a square outline and the absence of decorative arms suit modern, minimalist and modernist settings. The sandy white finish can be coordinated with a light-coloured ceiling, while the dark area around the bulb remains a contrasting detail when viewed from underneath.Choose the GU10 bulb separatelyThe fitting takes one replaceable GU10 bulb rated at no more than 35 W. The bulb is not included, even though the product photograph shows one in place. Select its colour temperature, lumen output and beam angle separately to determine the character and coverage of the light below the fixture. These are not fixed properties of the white housing. For a larger terrace, plan the number and spacing of fittings around the mounting height and the chosen bulb's light distribution. One GU10 socket alone does not establish how well an entire outdoor seating area will be lit.Outdoor placement with a corrosion limitationIP65 provides protection against dust and water jets. A ceiling above an entrance, covered balcony, terrace or gazebo is an appropriate application, including at a hotel. However, the installation instructions exclude corrosive environments; the water rating does not establish resistance to salt exposure. A qualified electrician must connect the fitting to the 220–240 V supply. Its Class I construction requires a protective earth connection.Show more
