The metals content is below 1ppm making these columns very efficient and durable. This very unique phase is used when fast, Reversed Phase HPLC is desired and/or retention of your hydrophobic compounds are too much with C18 and too little with C8. Cogent RP™ C12 is based on Adamantine, which is a diamond-like crystal structure that remains more rigid than traditional long chain alkyl ligands under Reverse Phase conditions.
