Mantra TONIC 7872 bronze GX53 pendant light without ceiling canopy

Name: Mantra TONIC 7872 bronze GX53 pendant light without ceiling canopy
Brand: Mantra

Mantra TONIC 7872 is a single-light pendant with a small cylindrical glass shade in a bronze finish. A long, slender stem connects the shade to the black suspension cable, giving the fitting a distinctly vertical outline. This version is supplied without a ceiling canopy or bulb, so both need to be considered when planning the finished installation.Allow for the stem as well as the shadeThe shade measures 9.8 cm in diameter, while the rigid body, including the shade, is 43 cm tall. Mantra specifies an adjustable overall height of 43–200 cm. The smaller figure is therefore not the cable length, and the maximum refers to the complete drop rather than the glass shade. For a position above a dining table or kitchen island, compare your ceiling height with the worktop level and the intended shade position. The narrow head occupies less of the sightline than a broad fabric shade. The elongated stem still forms a visible vertical feature, however, so judge the whole silhouette rather than relying only on its compact diameter.A replaceable GX53 bulb, purchased separatelyThe fitting takes one GX53 bulb rated at a maximum of 12 W. This is the permitted bulb wattage, not a statement of consumption for a pendant supplied with a light source. Check the selected bulb for its luminous flux and colour temperature. The warm appearance in the photograph does not establish either specification.Mantra lists this version as non-dimmable. A replaceable bulb does not, by itself, establish compatibility with a wall dimmer. The missing canopy is another important distinction: this is not a complete installation package with a ready-supplied cover for the ceiling connection.Bronze glass with a restrained outlineThe reflective shade, straight stem and black cable support a modern, minimalist interior scheme. Consider TONIC above a table or island, or beside a living or bedroom area where a small pendant head is preferable to a broad fixture. Choose the number of pendants and required lighting level according to the space and separately selected bulbs; the shade diameter alone is not a measure of brightness.Show more
