GALAXIA 7622 is a chandelier of six independent pendants dropping from a single round canopy 40 cm across. Each pendant ends in a globe capped with cement — some in the tone of raw concrete, some white, some red. The globes hang at different heights, so the arrangement reads as a scattered constellation rather than a row of lamps. 21-321 cm is three metres of freedom Each of the six cables is 3 metres long, and the manufacturer quotes a height range from 21 to 321 cm. That is not cosmetic adjustment: it runs from an almost flat ceiling fitting to a cascade down the full height of a stairwell. That is where this model looks best — over a flight of stairs or in a tall hall, where globes hung at different levels are visible from several floors. Over a dining table in an ordinary flat, shorten the cables and bring the globes close together. Cement and steel The manufacturer lists cement and steel as the materials. The cement caps above the globes have a matt, slightly rough surface, each in a different tone, and they are what give the fitting its visual weight — the whole assembly weighs 7.6 kg, which calls for solid anchoring into the structural ceiling rather than a plug in plasterboard. The cables are transparent, so they disappear at a distance and the globes appear to float. Six E27 sockets — lamps included The fitting has six E27 sockets and the manufacturer supplies the lamps, so it lights as soon as it is installed. The globes are part of the composition rather than shades hiding a bulb, so if you replace them later, keep to the same type and appearance. The fitting is not dimmable and should not be wired to a wall dimmer. Installation and documents The chandelier is Class I and needs an earth conductor. Supply at 100-240 V, 50/60 Hz covers the whole European range. IP20 places it in dry rooms. Mantra has issued declaration of conformity MANTR210202.00 for this model and backs it with a three-year warranty. Variants in the family GALAXIA is a family of ceiling lights.
