SLV EUTRAC 1001510 is a one-metre section of carrier track for the EUTRAC 3-phase surface-mounted track system, in white. The profile is aluminium, 3.6 × 3.2 cm in cross-section, and weighs 0.833 kg net. Which system it belongs to This is a 3-phase track for 230 V mains in the EUTRAC standard: three separate circuits run inside one profile, so the luminaires hung on the same rail can be split into three independently switched groups. Each luminaire's adapter has to be made for EUTRAC 3-phase track — adapters for single-circuit track will not fit this profile. The track section itself is a carrier part with no electronics in it. Bringing an installation into service also takes a feed-in, end caps and, on a longer run, connectors: longitudinal, L-, T- or X-shaped. The manufacturer states that the track is not DALI capable. How it is mounted The profile comes with holes already in it, so it screws straight to a wall or a ceiling with no drilling or cutting beforehand. For suspending it below a ceiling the manufacturer offers a separate steel wire suspension, ref. 1002845: a set of two 5 m wires. The track is safety class I, so the installation needs an earth conductor. It is intended for dry indoor spaces only. Colour, length and the rest of the family The white of this profile is RAL 9016 — SLV changed it from RAL 9010 in April 2018, so when adding a section to an older installation it is worth checking which shade is already up there. The same system is also made in black and grey. Sections come in several lengths: besides one metre there are two- and three-metre pieces, and a run is assembled from them with longitudinal connectors.
