Gea Luce GFA1665 linear recessed LED light, white, 20 W, 3000 K

Name: Gea Luce GFA1665 linear recessed LED light, white, 20 W, 3000 K
Brand: Gea Luce

Gea Luce GFA1665 is a linear recessed LED light with a white aluminium frame and a glossy black optical cover. Its narrow rectangular face contains a row of recessed lenses rather than a single round spotlight. The clearly defined shape suits modern and minimalist ceiling layouts where the lighting follows a restrained, linear arrangement.Allow for both the fitting and its separate transformerThe visible face measures 204 × 32 mm, while the fitting is 40 mm high. The manufacturer's drawing specifies a 199 × 27 mm mounting cut-out. Check both measurements before preparing the ceiling: the outside frame dimensions are not the dimensions of the opening. This is a recessed fitting, not a light mounted entirely on the ceiling surface.A transformer is supplied but is not integrated into the body. The installation therefore needs to accommodate that separate component as well. The stated 40 mm height describes the fitting itself, not the total space required for every part of the electrical installation.Warm light with a concentrated beamThe integrated LED module is rated at 20 W and produces 3000 K warm-white light. Gea Luce specifies 1580 lm and a direct 30° beam. That narrow distribution matters when planning accent lighting: it does not spread light in the same way as a broad-beam ceiling light. Position fittings according to the surfaces that need illumination rather than assuming an evenly lit room from a single unit. The black cover and anti-glare optics distinguish this version from fittings with an exposed continuous diffuser. It can provide light accents in living rooms, entrance halls and corridors. The number of fittings and their spacing depend on the individual lighting plan.Included LED source, on/off operationThere is no separate bulb to select because the LED module is included. This version is not dimmable and uses on/off switching. A qualified installer should connect it to the 220–240 V supply in accordance with the instructions. Disconnect the power before cleaning. The manufacturer specifies a damp cloth with mild detergent followed by gentle drying, while keeping water and detergent away from electrical components.Show more
