Maytoni Float MOD498CL-L13BK1 black LED ceiling light, 13 W, 3000 K, Ø20 cm

Name: Maytoni Float MOD498CL-L13BK1 black LED ceiling light, 13 W, 3000 K, Ø20 cm
Brand: Maytoni

Maytoni Float MOD498CL-L13BK1 combines a black metal ceiling base with a rounded glass shade. The smoky glass leaves the central light source visible, while a short connecting piece separates the shade from the canopy. This is the compact ceiling-mounted version, not one of the pendant lights in the same collection.A glass disc close to the ceilingThe shade measures 20 cm in diameter and the complete fitting is 11.45 cm high. Before installation, compare that projection with the available space above doors and other furnishings. There is no suspension cable, so the position is not adjusted by shortening a hanging cord. Its small diameter lets you place the fitting over a particular part of a room without the spreading arms or broad structure of a chandelier. In a larger space, however, the number of fittings should be planned around the required light level rather than their physical size alone. Shade diameter does not establish the area that will be adequately illuminated.Warm-white light with dimmingThe integrated LED source is rated at 13 W, with a declared light output of 700 lm. A colour temperature of 3000 K gives warm-white light; this version does not offer colour-temperature adjustment. Its 100° beam spreads light more widely than a narrow directional spotlight, an important distinction when planning general lighting.Maytoni confirms that the fitting is dimmable. Check compatibility between the chosen dimmer and the luminaire before connecting it to a lighting-control system. The supply is AC 220–240 V, and there is no separate screw-base bulb to select.Planning an interior around FloatConsider it for a hallway or bedroom, or as part of the lighting in a living room, kitchen or dining room. In a study it can supplement general lighting, but does not automatically replace a dedicated task lamp. Its IP20 rating does not support outdoor installation or placement where water exposure is expected. The plain black cylinder and curved glass support a modern, minimalist setting. The defining detail is the contrast between the compact base and low glass disc: leaving the shade's side profile visible retains the character of this particular Float ceiling light.Show more
