Nordlux Fallon 47540103 LED surface-mounted ceiling light, black/steel, 10 cm

Name: Nordlux Fallon 47540103 LED surface-mounted ceiling light, black/steel, 10 cm
Brand: Nordlux

Nordlux Fallon 47540103 is a compact surface-mounted ceiling light with an integrated LED and three Moodmaker™ settings. Its black cylindrical body frames a steel-coloured ring and a circular light surface. This black/steel version combines metal with plastic components; it is neither the white variant nor the taller Fallon Long.Three light settings from a wall switchMoodmaker™ is operated using an ordinary wall switch. Successive switching selects all the light, the centre at half brightness, or the ring alone. The change therefore affects which part of the fitting emits light as well as the lighting level. That distinction matters when comparing Fallon with a light that simply dims its entire diffuser continuously.Plan the controls around this built-in three-step function rather than assuming compatibility with any external dimmer. The included 5.5 W LED is an integrated, non-replaceable light source, not a screw-in bulb. There is no separate bulb to buy, but choosing a different bulb later is not a way to change the light colour.Warm light and ceiling layoutThe 2700 K colour temperature produces warm white light. Nordlux specifies 500 lumens and a 110° beam angle, giving a wider distribution than a narrow accent spotlight. The number and spacing of fittings should be considered against the room size and required illumination; one light is not a promise of adequate lighting for an entire living room. The short body suits a planned ceiling arrangement in a hallway or corridor, or supplementary lighting in a living room, bedroom, hotel or restaurant. Fallon is intended for indoor use. A bathroom lifestyle photograph does not replace checking the protection requirements of the actual installation position.A small cylinder without a pendant dropWith a diameter of 10 cm and a height of 6 cm, its footprint can be compared directly with the available ceiling space. This is a surface fitting, not a recessed downlight. Parallel connection is supported and an external connector block is included. The plain cylinder, without arms or hanging ornaments, supports modern, minimalist and Scandinavian interiors.Show more
