F44 M15 02 is the two-metre lit bar of Fabbian's Freeline system — a black aluminium rod 2.3 cm across with a light slot running its whole length. Inside it sits a 24 V LED strip behind a diffuser.How much light the bar givesThe manufacturer states 16 W of power draw and 1656 lm of luminous flux — roughly what two old 60 W bulbs gave, only spread evenly over two metres instead of concentrated in one point. 3000 K is warm white: warmer than daylight, without the distinctly yellow cast of 2700 K.A colour rendering index of Ra 90+ means colours read almost as they do in daylight, which counts over a worktop and at a mirror. The IP40 rating restricts installation to dry interiors.What comes in the box and what you addUnder the code F44 M15 02 the manufacturer supplies the LED strip, the diffuser, the electrical cable and two closure caps. There is no driver and no ceiling fixing — those are bought separately as a Freeline canopy: F44 M01 02 with a dimmable 60 W driver, F44 M03 02 with a 100 W driver, or F44 M02 02 without one.The way it hangs is a separate code too. F44 Z07 02 and F44 Z09 02 are kits for suspension on two metres of steel cable with a ceiling regulator, and F44 Z01 02 is a pair of joints that lock two bars together at an angle. That is how the system works: the composition is built from bars, light points and joints, each ordered on its own.Size and weightThe bar is 200 cm long and 2.3 cm across, and weighs 1.03 kg. Its carton is 210 cm long and weighs 1.905 kg — a length worth checking against your stairwell and unpacking space before the order arrives.
