The Endon Dannah 96936 is a solar garden bollard 80 cm high, 20 cm wide and 6 cm deep. A black rectangular aluminium-alloy frame leaves an open centre; a white polycarbonate diffuser under the top bar emits warm LED light. A PIR detector sits on that bar, and the photovoltaic panel is built into the top face, so the fitting does not use a 230 V supply. Light, modes and sensors The integrated SMD 3528 LED draws 5.88 W, runs at 3000 K and reaches 320 lm at most. Hold the switch for 3 seconds to turn the fitting on; further presses cycle three modes. Mode 1 stays on at 30 lm. Mode 2 stays at 30 lm and rises to 130 lm for 25 seconds when motion is detected. Mode 3 lights 320 lm on motion and switches off after 25 seconds. The PIR covers 110° out to 8 m. A photocell enables the circuit at dusk and disables it at dawn. A 3.7 V 2200 mAh lithium battery is included. The manual asks for 1–2 days of first charge and a sunny position. To test a switched-on fitting, cover the panel — the light should come on. Nearby night-time lighting, such as street lamps, can confuse the dusk sensor. Outdoor fixing IP44 covers splashing rain, not immersion. Fix the bollard to a solid surface — concrete, decking or paving — with the masonry screws supplied. Do not stand it in soil. Net weight is 1.48 kg, packed 2.26 kg. The base has mounting holes. Manufacturer warranty is 2 years. Form and care The open geometric frame and textured black finish give a modern, spare outline beside a path or in a garden. Light leaves the top bar downward onto the ground rather than onto a facade. Clean with a dry cloth only, without liquids or abrasives.
