Zambelis 23179 Ceiling Base for 24 V Flexible Track, Sandy Black

Name: Zambelis 23179 Ceiling Base for 24 V Flexible Track, Sandy Black
Brand: Zambelis

Zambelis 23179 is an aluminium ceiling base for the 24V Flexible Curved System, finished in sandy black. Its cylindrical body holds the flexible track at the ceiling. It is a mounting component, not a standalone ceiling light or a light source.Connecting the track to the ceilingThe manufacturer's installation guide specifies fixing the 23179 bases to the mounting surface with screws and wall plugs, then securing the track by tightening the base components. It identifies the 2 m track 23178 and the 3 m track 23177. This is an accessory for the named Zambelis system, rather than a universal fitting selected solely by a 24 V rating. The manufacturer requires installation and maintenance by a professional electrician.Size and visible constructionThe base measures 9 cm in height and 3.5 cm in diameter. These dimensions let you account for the mounting body when planning the track route. A dark cylindrical silhouette and restrained detailing suit modern lighting installations with exposed mounting components. The detail photograph illustrates the connection to a track; it does not show a complete supplied kit.Brightness, light colour and control depend on the rest of the lighting system, not on the 23179 base itself. Track, luminaires and a suitable power supply therefore need to be considered separately when specifying the installation.Show more
