Lumines RGB+CCT LED cable 6x0.35 mm² 14-8074-00

Name: Lumines RGB+CCT LED cable 6x0.35 mm² 14-8074-00
Brand: Lumines

Lumines cable 14-8074-00 is a six-core lead for RGB+CCT LED strips. Each core has a cross-section of 0.35 mm². LED Labs lists the article as cable sold by the metre. The official card does not state a fixed coil length, rated voltage, conductor material, ingress protection or maximum current. Six cores for an RGB+CCT strip An RGB+CCT strip uses six connections: the supply and separate channels for red, green, blue, warm white and cool white. A six-core cable matches that number of paths. It does not replace the four-core lead for an RGB strip or the five-core lead for RGBW. LED Labs sells those variants as 14-8072-00 and 14-8073-00. The official card does not say which insulation colour belongs to which channel. The coil photograph shows several jacket colours, but it is not a wiring diagram. Match the colours to the markings on the strip and the controller before connecting. 0.35 mm² and run length A cross-section of 0.35 mm² per core is small. Voltage drop rises as the run gets longer and as the strip draws more current. The manufacturer does not publish a maximum length, so compare the planned run with the load of the actual strip and the distance from the power supply instead of reading a limit out of the article name. LED Labs prices this code by the metre. The photograph of a coil held with white ties does not set how many metres one order contains. What this article does not include 14-8074-00 is the cable alone. The LED strip, the RGB+CCT controller and the power supply are separate products. The cable is not a Lumines profile-system part, and the card does not tie it to any profile.Show more
