Microsorb Silica is available in two different pore sizes, 60 and 100 Å, and is ideal for the separation of low molecular weight compounds that are soluble in organic solvents. Silica gel columns can be used to separate compounds in a sample depending on the direction, type and number of functional groups in the sample. From a preparative chromatographic point of view, purified samples can be concentrated without time-consuming lyophilization (freeze drying), making normal phase silica gel purification a good choice. The Microsorb column presented here is 100 mm long, has an inner diameter of 4.6 mm and uses 3.0 µm large particles.Show more
