Endon Spiral Tubular LED filament bulb E27 4W 2200K 265lm dimmable clear

Name: Endon Spiral Tubular LED filament bulb E27 4W 2200K 265lm dimmable clear
Brand: Endon

Spiral Tubular is an LED bulb in a narrow clear tube 18.5 cm tall and 3 cm across. A single LED filament runs inside the glass, twisted into a spiral along its whole length — it is fully visible, because the glass is colourless and unfrosted. The cap is an E27 screw fitting. Where this bulb fits The tube is only 3 cm in diameter over 18.5 cm of length, so it goes where a classic A60 bulb will not: into narrow glass tubes, picture lights and shades designed around a slim source. Measure the internal height of the shade before buying — with the cap the bulb needs more than 18.5 cm. The filament is the decorative element of this bulb, so it works best in a fitting that does not hide it: an open holder, a pendant flex, or behind clear glass. The bulb weighs 40 g. How much light it gives and of what kind Drawing 4 W, the bulb delivers 265 lm. That is about a third of what an old 60 W bulb gave, so this is a decorative, mood-level source rather than the main lighting of a room — brightening a room takes several such points or a separate fitting. 2200 K sits below ordinary warm white: the light is distinctly amber, close to the glowing filament of an old incandescent bulb, and the spiral itself shows that colour. Efficacy is 66 lm/W. The manufacturer gives China as the country of origin and a two-year warranty. Dimming The bulb is dimmable, which makes sense at this output: brightness control takes it from 265 lm down to a purely atmospheric level. It needs a dimmer built for LED sources — dimmers intended for halogen and incandescent bulbs do not work correctly with a source like this.Show more
